The Power Boat Cruise and Learn Package brings you a gift idea that is both fun and educational. Based in Vancouver, B.C., this live on board program gives him experience of extended cruising larger powerboats 30 to 35 feet.

THE EXPERIENCE
This Cruise and Learn is a live-aboard program that is designed to give students the knowledge and experience of extended cruising on a larger powerboat 30  35 feet in length. This Basic and Intermediate Powerboat program provides instruction on the essential aspects of cruising including maneuvering under power, docking, anchoring, navigating, boat systems, crew overboard and other safe boating procedures.

Upon successful completion of the course students will receive CYA (Canadian Yachting Association) Basic and Intermediate Powerboating Certification with the option of also obtaining the IYT (International Yachtmaster Training) International Crew Certificate and International Bareboat Watchkeeper / Basic Flotilla Skipper Certificates.

FORMAT
Students board on Sunday at 3:00pm at our Granville Island base at 1626 Duranleau St.
where you will meet your instructor. The course departs on their journey that afternoon
for five days of cruising aboard their fully provisioned yacht. As there are only four
students on board with one instructor, students get personalized attention throughout the
five days. Students return on the Friday by 3:00pm.
